eCDls® is a web based version of CDLS 2.0.
It is available from several sources free of charge for active Montgomery County Medical Reserve Corps volunteers.
The eCDLS™ course is the on-line version of Core Disaster Life Support® (CDLS®). Recognizing that many potential students of CDLS® are unable to arrange for attendance at a live course, CDLS® has been made available for distance learning. The added advantage of the on-line approach is that the student may take the course in multiple sessions over a period of several days or weeks; it is self-paced. This course was developed by the AMA under a grant received from the US Department of Homeland Security.
Target Audience EMTs, Allied health workers and technicians, Law enforcement, Medical Reserve Corps (entry level), Some office-based health care professionals, Police, Firefighters, Emergency management personnel, Government officials, Health care administrators, Social workers, Disaster relief workers, or anyone needing an introductory program in public health emergency preparedness.
